Assessment of narrow alveolar ridge expansion by ossiodensification vs. ridge splitting technique for dental implant placement

Objectives: Comparing osseodensification vs. ridge splitting techniques in dental implant placement regarding stability, insertion torque, bone width and density. Patients Method: Twenty individuals with a narrow of 3-6 mm at crestal level were included this study. They divided into two groups: Group I Osseodensification technique, II Ridge technique expanders sticky augmentation. Implant surgical procedure duration, width, density all evaluated by CBCT. Results: (I) had showed higher statistically significant Insertion torque than group (II). While (II) increase mean ISQ reading after 6 months (p<0.001). time (I). gain postoperatively, 3 (p<0.001*). Conclusion: been shown to while maintaining primary stability around implants without sacrificing bone.
